For 21 years, Oakville East has been my home where John and I have raised our four children. As the Member of Parliament since 2019, I have been dedicated to delivering progress for Oakville East through initiatives that enhance economic growth, the environment and our community. During this time, I have held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Public Services and Procurement, Minister of National Defence, and President of the Treasury Board. Since September 2024, I have served as Minister of Transport, with Internal Trade being added to my portfolio in December of 2024. In this position, I have prioritized investments in supply chains and shipping corridors. In the midst of U.S. tariff threats, I pushed to reduce barriers to internal trade between provinces and territories at an unprecedented pace. I am now the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, where I am focused on driving Canada’s economic resilience and our competitiveness on the global stage.
